yesterday we were given a morning editorial illustration project at NUCA,
we were given the choice of a few articles from the guardian and i chose
this one by writer oliver burkeman.
we had 15 minutes to come up with an inital array of ideas, then 20 minutes to refine a couple and then after that produce a final sketch, all within an hour.
i was very happy with my final sketch so went ahead and did it. its the only time i can remember going from initial idea to finished piece in a matter of hours and was really quite fun, heres the process:
